EARTHING for Multiple Sclerosis!
What the heck is earthing??? It’s a practice that has not been forgotten and not passed down to most generations! I honestly had never heard of this term AFTER I healed all of my symptoms. My now daughter-in-law had given this to me as a book as gift about 8 years ago. It said, “Earthing – The most important health discovery ever!” It seemed kinda strange to me and my husband started to read it. The next day my husband said, “Honey, you really should read this. What I’ve already read is incredible!” Well, That got my curiosity.
EARTHING is engaging your bare feet (or skin) to the earth. The term is also known as grounding involves direct physical contact with the Earth’s surface, such as walking barefoot on grass, soil, or sand. One of the primary benefits of earthing is its ability to reduce inflammation in the body. Scientific studies show that the Earth’s surface carries a negative electric charge, and direct contact allows free electrons to flow into the body, acting as natural antioxidants. This neutralizes free radicals and reduces oxidative stress, which is closely linked to chronic inflammation and pain.
Think of wild animals! They EARTH ALL THE TIME and they rarely get disease!
Swimming in nature is earthing!
Standing in nature is earthing!
Pets need to earth too!!!
Another significant benefit of grounding is its positive impact on sleep and stress levels. Many individuals who practice regular earthing report improved sleep quality and deeper rest. This may be due to the balancing effect grounding has on cortisol, the body’s main stress hormone. By helping to reset the body’s circadian rhythms and promoting a more relaxed state, earthing can lead to reduced anxiety and better mental clarity throughout the day.
Additionally, earthing may support cardiovascular health by improving blood flow and reducing blood viscosity. These effects contribute to better circulation and potentially lower blood pressure, which can decrease the risk of heart disease over time. While more research is needed to fully understand the mechanisms, the existing evidence and anecdotal reports point to earthing as a simple, natural practice that supports overall health and well-being, requiring nothing more than time spent in direct connection with the Earth.
Read this excerpt in the book:
One thirty-six-year-old woman with advanced multiple sclerosis was so happy about her improvement after Eathing that she once ran out of her house, stood in the middle of the street and screamed to all of her neighbors to get grounded. She said she wanted to start the “barefoot revolution” and teach everyone to get well. She had tried earthing out of desperation—something someone had told her about—after a doctor had advised her to purchase an adjustable bed, a large screen television, and to make herself as comfortable as possible. MS doesn’t get better, the doctor told her. In her case, it did and dramatically so.
Try to earth daily outside when it’s warm. When it’s not warm, sleep in grounding sheets, put your feet on a grounding pad when you’re on your computer, and put a grounding bracelet on when you’re watching TV! You can purchase these devices on Amazon.
I hope you learned some things about earthing!
Bye, I need to go earthing right now, get vitamin D, and give myself a break from EMF’s!
